Association Levels Between Results from a Therapeutic Educational Program on Women Suffering from Genito-pelvic Pain Penetration Disorder and Their Socioeconomic Status

Abstract Introduction Sexual health is fundamental in an individual’s well-being. Genito-pelvic pain/penetration disorder, also known as dyspareunia, one of the most common sexual disorders, and approaches from physiotherapy include multimodal options, being education, a recent resource often used. Social economic factors might influence effectiveness educational therapies patients suffering this affliction. The objective study was to determine if there existing correlation between participant’s socioeconomic status results therapeutic program. Methods A randomized controlled trial performed using education intervention sample 69 women genito-pelvic disorder. Results over time were assessed regarding pain intensity, pain-related outcomes, functioning. Socioeconomic measurements obtained February 2022, these included age, level, household monthly income, or job rank. analysis outcomes Pearson’s index Spearman’s rho statistic. show that no significant any found measurements. Conclusion program improves functioning with persistent pelvic pain, independently their Policy Implications Education powerful sexuality despite patient’s socioeconomical
